This seasonal offering from one of the world's most successful yet enigmatic artists follows 2005's 'Amarantine'. Originally envisioned as a Christmas album, it evolved a more general winter theme, with the finished product containing onlytwo traditional Christmas songs - 'O Come O Come Emmanuel' and 'Oiche Chiuin' (Silent Night). The whole is bathed in the customary ethereal, hypnotic wash of synth and massively multi-tracked vocals and includes the single 'Trains And Winter Rains'.
