City Boy - Young Men Gone West/Book Early (Music CD)

This compilation of the band's third and fourth albums, released by Renaissance, showcases the band's progression into a harder-edged sound, compared to their soft-rock roots. Although Young Men Gone West is a bit uneven, it has its moments, including the pensive "Millionaire." Book Early is City Boy's most focused (or least eclectic, depending on your outlook) and most memorable. ~ Gina Boldman
